Traveling to Virginia Tech
Directions from the Roanoke Regional Airport:
- When leaving the airport, take I-581 N for 2.4 miles.
- Take exit 1S to merge onto I-81 S toward Bristol/Salem.
- Take exit 118C-B-A for US-11/US-460 toward Blacksburg/Christiansburg.
- Keep left at the fork to continue toward US-460 W.
- Take exit 118B for US-11/US-460 W/US-460 toward Blacksburg/Christianburg.
- Keep left at the fork to continue toward US-460 W and merge onto US-460 W.
- Take the exit toward Downtown.
- Merge onto Prices Fork Rd/VA-412.
- Make a U-turn at University City Blvd/University Mall. The Inn will be on the right
If you are flying to Virginia Tech, the Roanoke Regional Airport is the closest major airport to Virginia Tech (approx. 40 miles). Shuttle service is available via Smart Way Bus.
