| Abstract: |
Using Microsoft XP TabletPC, a SmartBoard, SynchronEyes software, and Lenovo ThinkPad X41s, Yale University recreated a traditional pedagogical model in a way that maximizes student participation. This poster presents the considerations faced, decisions made and lessons learned during this experiment including dissemination and storage of laptops, why pen-based machines, what type of machine, learning curves for professor and students, pedagogical impact and ongoing support.
